Worked as a freelance journalist from 2012 onwards before moving to an investigative reporter role in Noteworthy in 2019. A selection of print, radio and online publications are below.

Recognition for work during this time includes: ABSW Best Newcomer Award 2015 Britain and Ireland, Cancer World Journalist Grant 2014, full scholarship to complete an MA in Journalism during 2012/13 and creative non-fiction science policy fellowship supported by the US National Science Foundation.

radio journalism

Was part of the team producing Inside Culture on RTÉ Radio1 during its 2016 season. I’ve also appeared as a guest on RTÉ, Today FM, Newstalk and local radio.

Focus on investigative data-led stories in the areas of policy, health, science and the environment. These are published in national newspapers and international news outlets

Highlights include four front page news stories, a Culture Magazine cover story (an interview with Dara Ó Briain), three full-page news focuses (on pollinator decline, superbugs and organ donation) and three back page news stories.
